A rose and A lotus

Nature has an abundance of beautiful things to talk about.

Both are beautiful, but a rose can’t grow in the same conditions as a lotus. But this doesn’t affect their beauty :)

A distinct difference is that Lotuses are aquatic plants growing in ponds, lakes, or shallow water bodies. They require a constant water supply and can grow in muddy or swampy conditions. Lotuses are adapted to growing in waterlogged soil and can tolerate occasional flooding, whereas the rose friend of ours prefers well-drained soil. Overwatering should be avoided to prevent root rot.

The gardeners make sure to provide such conditions for the growth of both. They will never treat one like the other!

It’s just different environments needed to grow and sustain. Under favourable conditions, both grow beautifully at their own pace and sustain — which tells much about humans.

We constantly compete amongst ourselves, trying to top one another in different tasks, ignoring the fact that many times the environment might not be suitable for the growth of the other, and even if you are just a rose in a world of roses, there is enough space for every rose to blossom :)
