Why are we stressing this?

For the sole purpose of cultivating understanding and Love. Understanding is the prefactor for love.

If you are not yourself, it's tricky to see those aspects, and when understanding is there, love is there. The relationship is meaningful only when each person is themselves. If either of them is empty, one doesn't have anything to offer.

By Empty, we mean empty of truth, understanding and love. Therefore, one has to be themselves and mindful of every moment.

You are the boss and not the victim. You are always with yourself.

The art of being alone is cultivating the energy of peace, understanding, and compassion in each moment, being ourselves at all times. This improves our relationship with ourselves and others.

Coming back to oneself by being alone gives all the nutrients it needs to grow like a tree that stands still in one place and is naturally nourished by the earth, air, and water.

Likewise, when we live mindfully, we return to self, we embrace being alone, and nourish ourselves with understanding and love.

We can be alone at all times, even in a group of large people, by coming back to ourselves, coming back to our breath and just listening actively to the sounds around us.

And as we cultivate this, we become trees

Alone, compassionate, secure … HOME
